It is with much sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Richard Sykes early this morning. He had been suffering with an incurable lung disease and had just returned from hospital at the end of last week. One of the great characters and supporters of the OCGS over many years.

Sad to report that Nigel Paul passed away this week. He was 89. One of the finest sportsmen in Cranleigh’s history, he played first class cricket and rugby and won the English Seniors at golf. He played many times for the OCs in the Hewitt and was renowned as one of the strongest and most competitive players.
