Royal Burgess GC
After an absence of 43 years the OCGS competed in the above competition at the weekend in Edinburgh and by reaching the quarter finals equalled Cranleigh’s best previous performance achieved in the period 1961 to 1971. In the first round we defeated Royal High School F.P. 3-0 and in the second round we defeated Kelvinside Academicals 2-1. Unfortunately in the quarter final we were unable to repeat the previous performances and we lost 2 ½ to ½ against Old Uppinghamians. The following represented the Society:
