It is with much sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Richard Sykes early this morning. He had been suffering with an incurable lung disease and had just returned from hospital at the end of last week. One of the great characters and supporters of the OCGS over many years.

Mellin Salver 2023

We had a very successful 2023 Mellin. In the Peter Burles (over 65s) we lost in the first round to Forest but won the first two rounds of the plate against Lancing and Loretto. For those that dont know we made it to Round 3 of the Halford Hewitt.  Probably the windiest conditions I have played in my 38 Hewitts but the standard of golf was extremely high.
