BRENT KNOLL BOWL

We recently played in the Brent Knoll Bowl at Burnham and Berrow.  The weather was fantastic and the OC socks were very well worn.  On the course we played the local side, The Leatherjackets, in round one and went down 2.5 to 0.5 in a close game.  In the plate we came up against the Army and a timely introduction to Kummel for them by the OCs at lunch saw us prevail 3-0.  In the afternoon we met the mighty Millfield who fielded several ex pros and all played off + something.  Again a good game but we lost 2-1.  The overall winners were the Warwickshire Bears who beat the RAF in the final.  Millfield won the plate.
