We again entered the Queen Elizabeth Coronation Schools Tournament played at the Royal Burgess Golf Club in Edinburgh. In the first round we drew the home team, Edinburgh Academicals who we know well as we share the same accommodation at the Hewitt. We won the first pair comfortably with Marc Sadler playing some excellent golf alongside myself. In the second pair veterans Martin Riddiford and Oliver Rosenberg were three down early but in the end closed out the match 2/1. The last pair of Willie Porter and Giles Pickford negotiated a half at the 17th.
In Round 2 we played Uppingham who are very stuffy and have beaten us recently in the Grafton and they proved too consistent for us and ran out comfortable winners.
28 schools played and again we received a warm welcome from the organisers.
